What Other People Are Saying About The Garmin StreetPilot c550
- The c550 has virtually all the features you need in a GPS
- Screen is great even in strong sunlight
- Interface is very easy to use
- The unit is slightly bulkier than the nüvis — It’s not something that you can just slip into your pocket for a walking tour of Manhattan, for instance
- More than one customer review I’ve read says that Garmin’s customer support is lacking
Summary
The StreetPilot c550 might be the best all around portable GPS navigator. Garmin makes a great product! I read just as many reviews that say Garmin has great customer service as reviews that say their customer service is awful. Personally, I’ve always been very satisfied with Garmin. The StreetPilot is not as small and cute as the nüvis, but if you’re looking for a unit to keep in your car, this is a great option.
